Was because he was the only one that showed any interest in me, and because I was so starved for affection from a complete lack of it in my house, I pretty much jumped at it. Was a miserable 4.5 years I lost from my younger years unfortunately. In high school I totally had a crush on a computer nerd who also happened to be on the swim team, but he never showed any interest in me.
